M&A will be a sponsor of the Southeastern Regulators Association’s (SERA) 2011 Conference in Montgomery, Alabama, July 27-29. This year’s conference is hosted by the Alabama Department of Insurance.
Several M&A consultants will be in attendance including Mark Brannon who will be a panel participant during the “Rate Filings Topics Roundtable.” This discussion will focus on the use of hurricane models, the use of GLM, rate capping rules, credit tiering, and profit loads/cost of reinsurance/cost of capital.

Hello – looking for information to post on the AICP website about where the SERA conference will be held in Biloxi. Do you have that information? Is there a website for registration? Thank you!
Are the 2012 dates mentioned above locked in? The timing is not ideal given that in some parts of the country people have children returning to school that week and, being the last week of summer, many people plan their summer vacation to coincide with this week before Labor Day. Please advise if there’s a chance the dates will change.
