Meghan Brown joined Merlinos & Associates in October 2007.  She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Decision Sciences in 2007.  Meghan has passed two parts of the Casualty Actuarial Society examinations in pursuit of a Fellowship Designation.

Experience:

  • Assistance with rate and reserve analysis for several captive insurance companies including initial pricing and pro forma analysis as well as reviews of annual funding and reserve requirements
  • Verification of rates for auto and home
  • Aiding in financial examinations of property and casualty insurance companies
  • Reviewing rate filings for state departments
  • Assistance on the development of funding studies for various captives and self-insured entities in Alabama, Nevada, Vermont, Kentucky, and Delaware
  • Assistance on the development of actuarial reports and statements of opinion for various insurance companies, captives, and self-insured entities
  • Assistance on quarterly an annual actuarial reports for various insurance companies
