Chris Runfola entered the actuarial field after graduating cum laude from Georgia State University in 2009 with a degree in Actuarial Science. She has passed two parts of the Casualty Actuarial Society examinations in pursuit of a Fellowship Designation.  Chris also holds a degree in Computer Science and has 20+ years of business experience in IT and management.

Experience: 

  • Loss and Loss Expense Reserve Analysis
  • Development of actuarial reports for various insurance companies, captives, workers compensation funds, and self-insured entities
  • Preparation of Auto, Homeowners, and Commercial Residential filings
  • Preparation of competitive rate analyses
  • Collection and analysis of property/casualty data.
  • Development of Auto and Liability rating systems
  • IT support including database creation, Visual Basic and SAS programming
