Predictive analytics is rapidly changing the way actuaries perform their jobs. For the first time ever, the Society of Actuaries (SOA) is sponsoring two predictive analytics mini-track sessions to introduce emerging tools. Merlinos consultant Dorothy Andrews developed this Predictive Analytics Mini-Track that will be part of the SOA Valuation Actuary Symposium to be held in Hollywood, Florida, August 29-30. The mini-track will be focused on “Predictive Analytics Tools for Life Insurance” and “Using Predictive Analytics to Set Actuarial Assumptions.”
