Announcing Property & Casualty News Blog

Welcome to Merlinos & Associates, Inc.   We celebrate the launch of our newly revised website with the creation of this blog page.  In the coming weeks and months we will note and  comment on the news and current events affecting the property-casualty insurance sector, such as federal vs. state regulation, insurance and reinsurance trends, risk management concerns, and the like.   It is our hope to pass along knowledge and details of an issue, without taking an advocate role for one side or the other.

In addition to commenting about insurance issues, we will also provide news and updates about the activities of the consultants within our firm.

M&A is one of the larger independent property and casualty actuarial consulting firms in the country, with our main offices in Norcross, GA.  Currently, our firm employs twenty-four actuarial professionals plus operations personnel.  Fourteen of our actuaries are credentialed members of the Casualty Actuarial Society, and we are active in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Actuaries, the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, the CPCU Society, the Society of Financial Examiners, and the Insurance Institute of America.   Our senior credentialed actuaries have extensive consulting experience, and we provide the necessary resources and knowledge to assist our clients with their property-casualty insurance issues and needs.
