Health Actuary
Merlinos & Associates is currently seeking a Health Actuary in our Norcross (Atlanta) office. The ideal candidate will have the following experience, credentials, and qualifications:
- Experienced health actuary with a minimum of 8 years of relevant healthcare experience.
- Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
- Experience related to product design and strategy.
- Experience with pricing alternative plan designs.
- Experience with modeling and estimating the ROI related to medical/disease management and wellness programs.
- Experience with analyzing health care reform provisions.
- Experience with captives and/or self insured plans.
- Strong client presence with project management, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Well organized with the ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, with potential to expand our health practice and enhance our property and casualty actuarial consulting services.
